A typical NOVEC System consists of agent storage tanks, valves, nozzles and a control panel
The agent is stored as liquid in cylinders at atmospheric pressure. It occupies 10 times smaller place compared to the gases systems.
Setup cost, service and maintenance cost of NOVEC system, when compared to others, are significantly lower.
Thermal shocks are produced when a carbon dioxide based extinguishing systems are discharged on electronics. No such shocks are produced with NOVEC’s system.
The system can be activated in coordination with smoke detectors that are placed in the room, manual trigger switch or with the start button present on the extinguishing control panel.
NOVEC-1230 gas tanks are produced to match the amount of agent that is required. From 14lt till 345 lt, storage tanks are available at various sizes.
The activation time of the nozzles when chosen by computer calculating is found to be less than 10 seconds. The system discharges immediately when used manual trigger.
NOVEC extinguishing agent
NOVEC-1230 gas extinguishing agent is specifically designed to increase the effectiveness and is safe to use for people and environment.
It is the better alternative for halon.
It does not cause any pollution after discharging as the ozone depleting potential (ODP) of this agent is zero and its greenhouse effect (GWP) is one.
It is electrically non-conductive.

The system is to be service on annual and half yearly basis. This service covers the inspection of tanks.
